Grandma's Pineapple Casserole



A favorite recipe is long overdue! Pineapple casserole has become an "Owens" frequent casserole at family dinners. Truth be told - I love casseroles! - broccoli casserole, hashbrown, asparagus, sweet potato, squash - and yes, pineapple.
This recipe comes straight from my mom's kitchen.

You will need:
2 cans pineapple chunks (20 oz), drained
2/3 cup sugar
5 Tablespoons flour
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 box Ritz crackers, crumbled
1 stick butter, melted

What to do:
Grease one-quart baking dish
Spread pineapple chunks along the bottom of baking dish
Mix flour and sugar, then sprinkle over drained pineapple
Sprinkle grated cheese
Pour melted butter over top

Bake uncovered 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Bake until slightly brown on top.
