Today began our first season of 2 boys playing a sport. Clayton and Hudson are both playing soccer this season....and so the craziness begins. I knew with 3 boys this day would be coming, so here we are! Will is head coach for Clayton's team (The Vipers) - Clayton named his team! and Will is assistant coach for Hudson's team, the Wildcats (and we of course, did NOT name that team (=) Our soccer schedule began at 9:00 am this morning and it was freezing! - we were NOT prepared for the cold! Clayton's team won 2 to 1 and our first soccer game was a success!
According to Coach Will: "Clayton was all over the field", but needs to practice "kicking harder" and "work some more on defense."
After a short break and a quick birthday party that Hudson attended, we headed back to the soccer field.
Hudson was hilarious as he kicked the ball and watched it roll down the field towards the net! After one goal - "Mom, I did it! I'm finished!" - Ummmm....not quite Hudson, get back on the field.
Hudson loved to kick the ball to the girls on his team and yell as us across the field "Mom, I'm done playing this game!"
Coach wanted Hudson "over here"
And of course, Graydon was there to cheer on (and fuss some) both brothers!
We will have one crazy busy, fun season ahead of us.
