Hudson Humor

Hudson is definitely our child who keeps us laughing! Here are just a few of this week's silly & sweet remarks made by our #2.......

H: Mom, I love you! (O.K., not really funny, but he does tell me this about 20 times a day). It makes me smile every time.

H: I showed Taylor my bear at school. She's my friend. I love her.

H: The gearls (girls) chase me on the playground and I chase the gearls.

H: Mom, you're my friend.

H: I'll stay up and watch football with you, Dad.

H: I don't need a nap, I'm fine.

H: I'm not hungry and that (food) is too hot! Can you blow on this for me?

H: (after getting out of the bath at night) - Shake my booty! Shake my booty! (his shaking booty dance is pretty cute)

H: MOOOO!!!!! says the cow!

H: (each time we get in the car) - Mom, can you turn on that God Made Me song? Mom......, Mom.......!!!

H: (as we pull in the church parking lot) - Mom, there's my Sunday School!

H: Clayton and Graydon are my friends.

On a side note............

Hudson did take a fall and collided with a few concrete steps this past weekend. It does look a little better than this now, but tomorrow is picture day at school and he does look a little "roughed up". This Mommy will be signing up for picture retakes!

Gray's Favorite Spot

Where is Graydon's favorite spot in our house????............
His room - Nope!
His brothers' rooms Nope!
The bathrooms (he loves) - but Nope!
...........The kitchen - YES!!!!

Graydon loves to spend his time hanging out in the kitchen. He loves opening every door - from cookware, small appliances, plastics, sippy cup cabinet, under the kitchen sink - it really doesn't matter.

Don't you just love this sweet smile?

Gray in his favorite spot!
There's never a still moment here!

Back to Western's Pool

As a child I spent many years taking swimming lessons at Diddle Arena - approximately 6 years to be exact!
Fast forward to today - Preston Center - a newer workout facility.....same swim coach and same chlorine smell.

Clayton had his 1st swim lesson at WKU this morning. Clayton is my "big fish" - he won't drown, but does need a few pointers with kicking his feet and moving his arms.

He had a great time with Coach Ben.........

Making big splashes.........

But, I sure don't remember this about swim lessons.........

Love it! Next year I'm definitely signing up Hudson!

Following in Poppy's Footsteps

Golfing is something I have grown up with. My dad has played golf my entire life. Will and I have played very little of this sport, but Clayton has been showing some interest for a while now. It didn't come as a surprise a few weeks ago (when discussing sports) that he mentioned golf - "so I can play at Poppy's course."
I headed inside, gave my Dad a call, and got some inside scoop! He suggested a friends of ours and Will immediately gave Adam a call.
Fast forward two weeks and Clayton is taking his 1st golf lesson!

Clayton absolutely loved it! And was so proud to show me his 1st blister from swinging the club.

I love that he is so excited!

A sneak of peek of Clayton in action!
