The Daniels' Disney Must-Do's!

As many of you know, our family took our first trip to Disney World this month during our school's fall break. I was somewhat reluctant to go on this trip - tons of people, long lines, long car ride! - however, I was completely wrong! and it was absolutely amazing! I went to Disney as a child (19 years ago!) and Will and the boys had never been before - this was a first for us all! Thanks to a little planning, perfect weather, and our family of 5 - we had the perfect Disney vacation!
Here are just a few (10 to be exact) of the Daniels' Disney Must-Do's!

10) Design your maps! Thank to my friend, Amibeth, I was able to create my own custom maps. Simple and easy, I was able to pick and choose the attractions that I knew my boys would enjoy!

9) A few nice meals! - Each day I had one meal reserved for a nice break in our hectic day! Chef Mickey's (with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald) and The Crystal Palace with Pooh and his friends were definitely worth our time!

8) A little big boy fun! - Disney is a theme park after all! - So Will and Clayton had to have a little big boy fun! Roller coasters were a must for these big boys! The Rockin' Roller Coaster seemed to be a favorite of my boys!

7) Meeting some of our favorite characters! We didn't stand in too many lines to meet characters (I do have only boys), but meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse were a must!

Other favorites included Tigger, Chip n' Dale, Donald Duck, and Buzz and Woody.

6) Revisit the favorites! There were a few rides that the boys absolutely loved! Our family's favorite was "The Buzz Spin Ride" (at least that's what our boys called it!)

5) Parades at the Parks! We did manage to catch all of the park parades each day. This was a great way to see the characters and provided some down time for our family! Plus - Graydon loved these parades!

4) An awesome hotel! We did manage to snag an awesome resort hotel! - complete with giraffes, zebras, and exotic birds outside our balcony. This was a great place to relax and let the boys play and view the animals.

3) Some water play! - our boys are like little fish! They find water wherever they go! Even though the water was a bit chilly, we did let the boys swim one late afternoon while we were there!

2) A few treasures! - I am a sucker for buying souvenirs. We did minimize the boys "treats" while we were there, but they did manage to get a few cool things to bring back!

1) Time together! - This vacations was all about making memories and spending time together! - and that's just what we did!

Clayton: "Disney is the best place ever!"

PARENT TIP* - You will need a great stroller for little ones!
