Friday's Fab 5 - What Every Daniels' Baby Needs

I am definitely NOT thinking babies around here - however, it seems that many of my friends are pregnant and having their first babies. Little ones seem to be surrounding me! So, I thought for them, and for you, I would give them a few tips on what the Daniels' boys HAD to have!
I have had three very different boys: Big C was my high-maintenance, colicky, hot-tempered baby and toddler. Little H was somewhere in between - pretty compliant, soothed himself, carefree, happy-go-lucky. And, my Baby G, super easy, easy-going, lazy, laid-back baby. With each boy, I had something different that I treasured (a must-have)! So........here it goes!

1) Nuk passies - We started Big C out with passies from the minute he popped out at the hospital. He loved his passy and kept it (until we hid it) for almost 2 years. We had several passies in each diaper bag, in his crib, in the car - wherever we went! Big C loved the Nuk passy. Baby G is very much like his big brother. Only in the last few months has Gray started liking his passy - he didn't really take to it right off. However, now that he will take it - we have several in each bag and always have at least one on the go.

2) Kick n-Play Bouncy Seat - We have had the same bouncy seat with all three boys! We received this gift at Big C's church baby shower - what a great investment someone made! Around 2-3 weeks, we begin placing the boys in the bouncy seat, and all three have loved it! The bouncy seat goes wherever we go - into the living room, bathroom, wherever! We love you bouncy seat!

3) Maya Wrap - Thank you to Aunt Shannie, who bought this when I was pregnant with Baby G. I didn't have this hip contraption with the other boys, but I have loved it with Gray! It was perfect for carrying Baby G when he was small, in the front, like a pouch. I was able to play with the older boys, complete my school bulletin board, attend baseball games, and play on the swing set - all while carrying Gray! And, it is super cute!

4) Space saver highchair - what a great invention! I have loved our Space Saver! We got this awesome highchair when Huds was born. It is the perfect seat from infant to toddler and doesn't take up any extra space! It is cushioned and comfy, fitting right into one of your kitchen chairs! We have since gotten a new seat for Huds, and Gray is now in the Space Saver! We love it!

Baby Trinket of the Week - Baby Food Masher! Since we were on highchairs - I thought it fit perfectly! I didn't use the unique little invention with Huds (when they first came out), but Baby G absolutely loves it! It is a great trinket to use at the dinner table, when the rest of us are having dinner. I just put a small amount of sweet potatoes, bananas, carrots, apples - whatever into this masher and Baby G goes to town! - chewing and gnawing to get his snack! It makes for such a nice, quiet dinner - sometimes!
